Dr. Anna Lembcke
Our Medical Director, Dr. Anna Lembcke, received her undergraduate degree from Northland College in Ashland, WI where she also played collegiate basketball. She then received her DVM degree from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Anna has always had a love of science, as well as animals, which made her career choice an easy one. In her 10 year career she has had the privilege of using her expertise working with large animals (such as cattle) and smaller pets (such as cats and dogs). While she now focuses solely on cats and dogs, her well-rounded experience was very beneficial as the Medical Director leading her two previous practices.
In her spare time, Dr. Lembcke enjoys woodworking, coaching, and refereeing basketball. She and her husband Dan live in the Madison area with their son, Mason, and two cats, Samsonite and Spaulding.
Dr. Susan Payne
Veterinarian
Dr. Payne was born and raised in South Carolina. She graduated from the university of South Carolina (go cocks!) with a bachelors in biological sciences and worked in cancer research for 5 years before returning to vet school at uw.
She lives in Madison with her husband (Craig) 2 cats (Brett and Murray) and golden retriever (Bogey). She enjoys hiking, reality tv, and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite part of being a veterinarian is getting to play a role in strengthening the human- animal bond and seeing up close all the positive things pets bring to their owners lives and visa versa.
Cyndie
Cyndie has spent more than a decade in veterinary medicine, excelling in general practice, emergency, critical care, and canine rehabilitation as a veterinarian assistant. Along the way, she discovered a passion for leadership, serving as both a team lead and assistant manager before stepping into her role as Practice Manager at Country View Veterinary Services in 2025.
In 2020, Cyndie took a break from clinical practice to focus on her education, earning her associate degree from Madison College and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. While she loved the fast pace and challenge of critical cases, she found her greatest fulfillment in operational leadership, tending to the business needs to support the medical capabilities of the clinic. She is passionate about making Country View Veterinary Services a place where pets receive exceptional veterinary care and people feel warmly welcomed.
Outside of the clinic, Cyndie enjoys training her German Shepherd in Schutzhund/IGP, indulging in culinary arts and spending time outdoors with her husband. Life at home is happily busy with four other animals; a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla who loves field work, an Australian Shepherd who excels at cuddling, a tripod Border Collie mix who keeps everyone smiling, and a mischievous Savannah cat.
